Privacy Policy

All customers’ privacy is important to JUAL Domestics Ltd.

JUAL Domestics Ltd make every effort to ensure that customers’ details are kept secure. JUAL Domestics Ltd will not pass customers’ information on to any third party without your authourisation. Any information the customer supplies to JUAL Domestics Ltd (either through this website, via email or over the telephone) will be used for the sole purpose to process the customers’ order.

General Terms & Conditions

Every item sold by JUAL Domestics Ltd carries a full manufacturers guarantee, starting from the day of purchase. JUAL Domestics Ltd recommend that customers register for this guarantee by either sending off the guarantee card supply with the product, or by telephoning the manufacturer and registering over the phone.

All products sold by JUAL Domestics Ltd are brand new and fully boxed (unless otherwise stated).

An item is not reserved and/or allocated to a customer until the item is paid for in full and the order has been confirmed by a member of the salesteam (either by phone or email).

JUAL Domestics Ltd recommend that all refrigeration units are left to stand for at least 24 hours after delivery before they are plugged in. This is to allow the gas and the oil to separate as they may have mixed during transportation. Refrigeration units should not be plugged in before this time otherwise this could lead to the results may have an impact on your guarantee.

JUAL Domestics Ltd have 3 retail stores, an eBay store and a website. Therefore occasionally an item can sell out before our computer system is updated. In this case, the order will be rejected. To avoid this happening, JUAL Domestics Ltd recommend that all customers call a member of the salesteam on 01977 609400 to confirm stock before committing to order.

JUAL Domestics Ltd try to provide an accurate description of all products; however items such as egg trays / ice cube trays / salad crispers etc cannot be guaranteed as manufacturers often change or remove these items. JUAL Domestics Ltd accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever with regard to material published on this site or by any third parties.

If the customer selects that JUAL Domestics Ltd should remove an old appliance, this is done on a “where possible” basis. This service will only be done if the item is fully disconnected and outside the customers property, ready for the driver to take away. This option is offered if the customer takes delivery from JUAL Domestics Ltd – if the customer collects the item or has it delivered by a courier JUAL Domestics Ltd cannot accept or dispose of the old appliance. Collection of the old appliance can only be done at the same time of delivery – JUAL Domestics Ltd will not return to collect an item at a later date.

Sometimes JUAL Domestics Ltd may have to open the box of a product to inspect it before delivery. This is not unusual; it will not have any effect on the item, and will not have any impact on the guarantee.

JUAL Domestics Ltd suggest that customers check the dimensions of the product are correct prior to purchase. It is pointless buying a product which will not fit.   

Neither JUAL Domestics Ltd nor any Manufacturer will not guarantee any products which are used within a commercial environment; unless explicitly stated on the product description as coming with a commercial guarantee.

Any cosmetic damage must be reported within 24 hours of a product being delivered, JUAL Domestics Ltd cannot rectify a cosmetic problem after this 24 hour period.

Customers must fully inspect items before fitting for any cosmetic damage. Once fitted, JUAL Domestics Ltd will not accept any liability for any damage climes or re-fitting costs what so ever.

JUAL Domestics Ltd takes no liability for any loss' or damages incurred in relation to any products sold by JUAL; this includes but it not limited to loss of food, damage to property on delivery and .

All items must be paid for in full prior to delivery.

JUAL Domestics Ltd advise customers to keep their invoices as a proof of purchase as this may help if the manufacturer is called out during the guarantee period. JUAL Domestics Ltd suggest that customers register for the guarantee upon receiving the product, by either sending off the guarantee card supplied with the machine or contacting the manufacturer direct.

JUAL Domestics Ltd ask that all customers provide a contact landline telephone number, for security reasons. JUAL Domestics may refuse to complete a transaction if a valid telephone number is not available to us.

We will endeavour to take all possible reasonable care to keep all details of your order and payment secure including quarterly scans of our website for security vulnerabilities and being fully PCI DSS compliant. However in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering.

Delivery Terms and Conditions

JUAL Domestics Ltd only deliver to the door (or to the first stoppable point because of Health and Safety). Entry to the customer’s property is entirely at the customers own risk, and at the driver’s discretion. It is in no way guaranteed by JUAL Domestics Ltd.

JUAL Domestics Ltd delivered between the hours of 7am and 8pm but the customer can request an estimated time or arival within three hours if this is possible to provide.

JUAL Domestics Ltd will not remove or dispose of packaging. If the customer requires JUAL Domestics Ltd to de-box the product and/or remove the rubbish and/or take the item into their property, this is at an extra charge and must be booked prior to delivery. Please ask a member of our salesteam for a quote.

Any shortages on delivery must not be signed for and JUAL Domestics LTD must be notified of any shortages within 24 hours.
 

JUAL Domestics Ltd do not deliver outside of the United Kingdom . If the customer wishes to have a product delivered to any other part of the world, please contact a member of the sales team on 01977 609400 who may be able to help further. JUAL Domestics Ltd reserve the right to cancel any orders made which are outside of our delivery service area. Customers are welcome to collect the item themselves or to arrange for a courier to collect the item on their behalf – but this is done entirely at the customers’ own risk. The contract for the courier service is between the customer and the courier. The courier must sign for the item as fully checked and in good condition as the customers’ representative. In order to verify that they are the customers representative, the courier will need to provide the unique JUAL customer ID number on collection. JUAL Domestics Ltd recommend that customers insure items collected by a courier against loss and damage. JUAL Domestics Ltd can provide you with a recommended courier company for most areas, who customers have successfully used in the past.

JUAL Domestics Ltd reserve the right to perform additional security checks on all collections including those done by a third party courier. Such checks can include but are not limited to: viewing photographic ID of the cardholder or quoting customer ID numbers provided on invoices.


JUAL Domestics try to give an estimated delivery time for you on the day of  delivery – however, due to traffic, we cannot guarantee a delivery time. Deliveries are made as an all day appointment, any times given are only estimates.

JUAL Domestics Ltd are not responsible for taking an item to an upper/lower floor, or carrying up/down any stairs. Should a second person be required to assist with carrying the product a charge of £25 will be able. Should the customer require this service, it must be stated at the point of sale – we cannot arrange this after this point. This service is not always available, and is not guaranteed.

Without verbal confirmation of your address, JUAL Domestics Ltd will not deliver your item. Please contact a member of our sales team on 01977 609400 or 01977 609260 after committing to buy to confirm your address and telephone number.

Whilst we make every reasonable attempt to deliver promptly and within the estimated time frame, we cannot be held responsible for sudden stock shortages or manufacturing delays. Please note that JUAL Domestics Ltd shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivering goods.

In the unlikely event that a received product is damaged, we request that the customer contacts our support team (on 01977 608648) within 24 hours (or within a reasonable amount of time) so that we can help resolve the problem.  N.B. The longer notification of damage to an item takes to be reported, the difficulty of resolving the situation increases.

WEEE Compliance

In order to partially meet our obligations as a distributor as defined in the UK Waste Electrical Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations (SI 2006 No. 3289 - 11 December 2006), we have opted to become a full member of the Distributor Take Back Scheme (DTS) as defined in regulation 35 of the WEEE Regulations.

As a member of the DTS, we have made a financial contribution towards the development of the network of Designated Collection Facilities (DCFs). This financial contribution is described in paragraphs 83 to 88 of the UK WEEE guidance and has been used to improve WEEE collection facilities located at Local Authority Civic Amenity Sites.

Retra Extended Warranties

Extended warranties are sold on behalf of the Retra retail association. The contact of all extended warranties is between you the customer and Retra retail. You can view Retra's terms and conditions by clicking here.

When purchasing a warranty, in order for us to activate and validate the warranty, you must call us on 01977 609400 with the products serial number within 30 days of purchase. Failure to do so will invalidate your policy. After activation you will receive full details of the warranty through the post; please check these details and inform Retra of any mistakes within 7 working days to avoid invalidating your warranty.

Warranties which are sold only extend the standard manufacturers guarantee to a fixed period as purchased; if a product failed within the manufacturers warranty period then the manufacturers warranty is still valid. This is to avoid duplication of cover.

Cancellations

The customer does have the right to cancel the order at any time prior to the delivery date, for any reason.

JUAL Domestics Ltd comply with the distance selling regulations and give you a 7 working day “cooling off” period starting from the day after delivery. In the unlikely event that the customer wants to return the item, the customer must contact JUAL Domestics Ltd on 01977 608648 and obtain a return number. The product must then be returned, using appropriate transport, to JUAL Domestics Ltd (Unit 4a Onward Business Park, Ackworth, Pontefract) within a reasonable time at the customer’s expense. Goods can be received Monday-Friday between 10am and 2pm but MUST be booked in for unloading quoting the return number at least 48 hours before on 01977 608648.

When a product is returned to JUAL Domestics Ltd, the product will be inspected to ensure that all manuals, accessories and components are complete and that the product is in pristine condition (as sent to the customer). All items are subject to inspection.

When products are returned to JUAL Domestics Ltd, where possible, the product should be returned in its own original packaging. Where this is not possible, suitable packaging should be used to prevent damage.

JUAL Domestics Ltd will reimburse any refunds within 30 days after the successful return of the item. Should the product be damaged or have any parts missing, JUAL Domestics Ltd will invoice the customer for these damages/parts providing proof for the amount of damage/parts missing. JUAL Domestics Ltd expects the customer to pay this amount within a reasonable amount of time.

Special Offers

Rangemaster Gifts are limited to one per customer. The gift which is available is dependent on the type of cooker ordered and the total value of the order. JUAL Domestics Ltd reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time for any reason.

Naked Wines vouchers are only for new customers of Naked Wines and are one per household. This offer is only available to people aged 18 or over and cannot be used in conjunction with any other Naked Wines offers. £40 voucher is valid against any case priced £79.99 or more and full terms and conditions in relation to Naked Wines can be found at www.nakedwines.com.

Britannia free gift offer is only available when purchasing any Britannia range cooker between Monday 21st June 2010 and Monday 23rd June 2010 and all cookers need to be delivered before Friday 17th September 2010. If you purchase a Britannia range cooker within the offer time-scale you must visit www.britannialiving.co.uk/promotions to claim your free gift. All claim forms must be received by Britannia before 17th September 2010.

The Britannia free gift offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers or on purchases with special offer pricing and is only available in the UK and Republic or Ireland. The offer is only available while stocks last and the customer can select only one of the three available options. The free telescopic shelves option is only for one oven, the Free Marks and Spencer option can be used in the Republic of Ireland and the free hood option is only for an option between the Brioso in stainless steel or black in widths of 90cm or 100cm or an alternative of the Intimo conopy hood which is suitable for 90cm and 100cm range cookers.

No cash alternative can be offered for any of the special offers provided by JUAL Domestics Ltd or manufacturers.

Governing Law

All contracts formed between JUAL Domestics Ltd and the customer through this website (and eBay, or in any of the JUAL Domestics Ltd stores) will be governed by English Law and any dispute will be subject to the English courts.
